Kevin Cook is a devoted leader with a deep-rooted connection to his community. His journey has come full circle, as he returned to Pulaski County High School, where he not only graduated but also taught. After serving as the school's assistant principal, Kevin took on the role of principal, following in the footsteps of former principal Rodney McAninch, who has been a valuable resource during this transition. Kevin's educational journey began as a chemistry and science teacher, where he dedicated 14 years to shaping young minds. In addition to his teaching role, he also coached tennis for 11 years. Kevin's administrative experience extends to Russell County Middle School, Southern Elementary, and the Lake Cumberland Area Technology Center, where he served as principal. Despite the difficult decision to leave ATC, the opportunity to return to his beloved PCHS was an easy one, given the strong sense of community and family that defines the school. Kevin's mission in education is to prepare students for their future, focusing on life beyond high school, whether it be college, vocational school, or entering the workforce. Beyond his role in education, Kevin actively engages with his community, particularly through his involvement in the music department at Eubank Baptist Church. His commitment to education and community shines as he leads at Eubank Baptist Church and guides the students and staff at PCHS.
